I'm flying to Portland, Oregon tomorrow to spend a week visiting family and friends and am really looking forward to a change of pace. The routine of therapy is getting boring and my shoulder hasn't responded as hoped. Instead, it seems the exercises are making it worse. Orthopedic surgeon suggested a rest from therapy so that's what I plan to do. I'll be in Corvallis to visit my father and two sisters and then back to Portland to spend time with sons Jaya and Chris. While in the area, I will be offering a group Conversation with AMAG at the home of long-time friend and spiritual colleague Joyce Strahn. I first met Joyce in Bozeman, Montana more than 30 years ago. How time flies when you're having fun! I can hardly wait to see her again.
